Chelly Jin (she/her) is a Korean American new media artist employing technology as a conduit of healing, expression, and exploration. Reimagining and chronicling relationships between body, mind and programming, her work explores themes of embodiment, intimacy, belonging and performing expectations. Her practice weaves the experimental with the interdisciplinary: creative code, artificial intelligence, critical research, multimedia installation, movement and performance, while continuing to draw from her fine arts background and prior design career. She is currently an MFA candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles in Media Arts, where she earned her BA in Design Media Arts and Digital Humanities.
